Attorney Profile

Worcester Elder Law Attorney · Boston Estate Planning

Paula A. Smith

Worcester Elder Law and Estate Planning AttorneyPaula Smith is passionate about working with the elderly. With over two decades of experience practicing elder law and with a supportive, caring nature, no attorney in the Worcester region is better suited to represent Massachusetts’ seniors.

Paula Smith is an accomplished law professional who still treats her clients as if they were family. This is because she understands that planning for a time when you may be incapacitated or planning for death can be especially stressful and difficult. She believes that while elder law issues can be complicated, treating elder law clients with respect and compassion is simple. In Paula Smith’s view, emotional considerations are every bit as important as practical matters when estate planning.

Paula Smith’s Philosophy on long-term care planning demonstrates this approach:
"I believe in practicing elder law with a holistic approach. I look at the total picture and incorporate other professionals to help my clients’ families make difficult decisions. By examining all the long-term care programs available including in-home, in the community, assisted living or nursing homes, I help families keep their loved ones close to them. At the same time, I assist with issues of financing care so that my clients and their families make the right choice that works best for everyone.”
